about the shop:  bv opened in May 2010 with origami cranes hanging in the window and a year’s worth of squirreled away vintage on the racks. Since its opening,  beaucoup has become a regular stop for Fredericksburg’s college crowd, young professionals and anyone looking to add some uniqueness to their wardrobes. The shop’s mission is to provide the Fredericksburg and surrounding area community with a well-curated, on-trend selection of good condit I am constantly sourcing vintage from private sellers, thrifting adventures, estate sales and online auctions so be sure to stop in regularly to see the newest finds!

about the shop girl: My mom and grandmother  like to take credit for my life-long love of fashion; they often tell the story of toddler Megan flicking through the stroller-level racks at the department stores, opinions at the ready. I went to UMW and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Art History. After the requisite stint at the local coffee shop, I went back to UMW as an employee; first as a writing consultant at the graduate center and then as the visitor services coordinator at the Ridderhof Martin art gallery, which I left right before opening the shop. I currently lives in downtown Fredericksburg with her husband Tom and sweet kitty cat, Stormy.

Note: I am always looking for new things to add to the shop; if you are interested in selling your wearable, clean, good condition vintage clothes from the 20s-80s, please e-mail me at megan@beaucoupvintage.com to set up a selling appointment.
